Simple Smoothie

A great way to start the day!

8 oz OJ (low sugar)

1/4 cup of blueberries

1/4 cup of strawberries

crushed ice approx 2 cups

1 Tbsp of Metamucil

1/4 cup of raw spinach

Blend together until smooth. 

*Notes....Raw spinach when blended is UNdetectable!  It's a great way to get some Iron into your diet and the smoothie is amazing!

Remember when adding fiber do it slowly to avoid stomach issues...So though the smoothie calls for a Tbsp, start out with a 1/2 and if no issues arise, go for the full amount!
